South BMX Champs 2011

Club CycloPark and South BMX invite you to the Southern BMX Championships to be held on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of October 2011 at the brand new International Standard BMX track at CycloPark.
This event is the first to be held at this brand new £8 million complex in North Kent and marks the start of several test events in the build-up to the parks official opening in the Spring of 2012.

Practice Day

10.00 am until 3pm - cost £5 per rider

Gates open at 9.30 am - Access to track opens at 10.00am

Practice will be marshalled and First Aid on site

Gates will be sorted into age groups to ensure safe practice for all

Track will close at 3pm and the site must be cleared by 4pm

Please bring your own refreshments and take your litter away

South Championships

General Notes

Main Gates open at 8.30am

Car Park Programme £3.00

Please be aware that there is a fair walk from the car park to the track – no vehicular access past the car park

Please respect the fact that CycloPark is still a building site and keep to the designated walkways to the track and stay in within the track area

Gazebo’s can be situated on the first and last straights and on top of the 1st/3rd berms. The site is quite exposed so please tie down your gazebos

Portaloos will be situated by the track and there will be 2 toilet blocks by the car park in use too

Please do not cross over any fences or taped off areas

The skate park and MUGA will be closed all weekend

The pump track will be open, please exercise care when using this facility

Sunday Practice Times

9.00am – 9.30am ~ 13 and under open practice
9.30am – 10.00am ~ 14 and over open practice
10.00am – 10.40am ~ 13 and under gate practice
10.40am – 11.30am ~ 14 and over gate practice

Racing starts at 12 noon

This event will be by pre-registration only – there will be no on the day entries

Presentation

The presentation for the South Champs and the South Summer Series will take place after racing at the Best Western Manor Hotel

The hotel is 5 minutes from the track and will offer special discounts to anyone wishing to stay on Saturday night – just quote CycloPark when you call
